ABOUT ALEX.

Born into a family of food lovers, I was destined to be a foodie.  My dad is a former restauranteur who never let me order off the kids menu and had me ordering anything with truffle by the age of 10; you know, before it was cool.  And my mom’s side is your typical big Italian family where eating pasta 3 meals a day and going back for fourths is a common thing. I’ve lived in LA since 2009 and have made it my mission to eat my way through this city. I’ve eaten cockroaches in China and pig face in Chicago – there is literally nothing I won’t try. I always order what a restaurant is known for or its specialty — no questions asked. I judge people based on what they eat and drink and how they talk about it afterward. To make money to afford all this dining out, I work in television casting which allows me to travel all around the USA and try the best restaurants in each city. My eyes are bigger than my stomach and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I firmly believe that life is too short not to order extra bacon, everything is better with an egg on top and there is ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS, room for dessert.
