Two weeks ago we hosted our first (of hopefully many) Blogger Babe Brunch (love
a solid alliteration) and to say it was a success would be an understatement. We invited 6 of our fav foodie blogger babes (#youcansitwithus) and partnered with La Brea Bakery Cafe (shoutout to Executive Chef Henk Drakulich and G.M. Alex Zudin) to make all our foodie dreams come true. It was a fun morning filled with mimosas, bloggers snapping away, and lots and lots of carbs. With a carefully curated menu including the famous LaBrea Bakery Granola, Pecan Stuffed Citrus French Toast, Ricotta & Blueberry Pancakes w/ Lemon Curd Cream, Prince Charming in a Hole (a fun twist on the classic ‘toad in a hole’), Fried Chicken Waffle Sammies, Crab Cake Sliders, and a ‘Make Your Own Avocado Toast’ bar w/ an assortment of La Brea Bakery breads, it’s safe to say that everyone left full and happy; our only question was why have we never thought of the avocado toast bar geniusness before? We’ll let the pictures do the talking but the moral of the story is if you haven’t already checked out the Cafe at La Brea Bakery for breakfast or lunch, get on that…now.
